Office building in light industrial area, 400m2 on two floors. A mandatory geometry limits the shape of the volume and imposes an alignment on the southwest-northeast axis and its orthogonal. The rational laying out of the offices inside witnesses the creation of a wide staircase contained in a two-heights open stairwell with skylights onto which looks the relax area, as a balcony.
Evident is the choice of natural lighting. The windows are divided in "sight" through small opening at eye level and "lighting" through a long window right on the ceiling's edge, to illuminate the offices without dazzling. Suitable external screening controls the intensity of the light.
The energy need of the building is inferior to 27 kWh/m2 per year.
An advanced system of air circulation and conditioning reaches every area.
On the outside, the exterior insulation includes an oriented solar screening in naturally oxidizing steel sheets.
